Domain rights in the Czech Republic are going through continuous development, one that concerns a very young area of law which our courts are gradually trying to clarify. The majority of legal issues in this area arise from matters where entrepreneurs often underestimate the importance of domains at the beginning of their business enterprise. As a result, they are subject to risk by trying to get a head start in registering their domain too early. To reclaim such a domain is then very difficult and frequently rather expensive. VKŠ attorney Alena Kojzarová shed light on this issue in an article which came out in the latest issue of a newsletter put out by the international human resources and consulting company Kienbaum and Partner.
