Profile of the company

Vyroubal Krajhanzl Školout is geared towards providing complex legal services to a broad range of enterprises, varying both in fields of expertise and in size. We also serve private clients who are looking for legal services in certain specific areas of law.

On January 1st 2007, VKŠ changed its status from a public trading company to a limited liability company. The reason for this change was to accommodate the law firm's new partnership structure with the aim of strengthening its market position. The partners in the firm are:

At present there are 24 attorneys (including partners), 6 trainee lawyers and 1 counsellor in the firm. Other employees provide managerial, administrative and other support activities related to the rendering of legal consultation. According to the February 16, 2009 edition of Czech Business Weekly, VKŠ is one of the largest law firms in the Czech Republic in terms of the number of lawyers that the firm employs. VKŠ has its head office in Prague and a branch firm in Ostrava.

VKŠ provides legal services to both Czech and foreign clients and operates fluently in English, German, Russian, Ukrainian and, most recently, Dutch.
 

VKŠ further arranges legal services abroad for clients, mainly through the international legal network, JCA International, of which it is a member. Connection to this international network enables the firm to provide fast and effective information regarding the laws of other countries, thus enabling clients to gain access to foreign markets.

The firm's  clients include a number of important Czech and foreign companies.
